A soft and strong fabric
The WW Jacket, in khaki or navy, is cut from a beautiful 100% cotton English canvas, woven in twill . Let's repeat what twill is: it is a method of weaving, slightly textured, made up of a series of parallel ribs which cross the fabric diagonally, giving it great strength. The jacket is therefore very solid.
In addition, this twill is sanded - we say brushed in French - which gives the fabric an ultra soft hand. The hand of a fabric is the impression of thickness and softness it gives when you caress it. The fabric weighs 280 grams per M2, which means it holds up well.
Workwear, yes, but elegant.
For the cut, we were inspired by this work jacket, with distant and forgotten origins, which we saw brought back into fashion by painters and architects, and which today interests us by its raw side of primary clothing and by its incredible convenience: you can wear it with everything, take it off whenever you want, put it anywhere, it won't get damaged!
We gave it a cleaner, more urban, more elegant cut. It is straight, very slightly fitted, except in the armpits where we gave it ease so that the jacket is completely comfortable.
A multi-pocket jacket
Convenient, it is also practical: it has 9 pockets, including 6 on the outside, distributed as follows:
- 2 classic side pockets
- 2 patch hip pockets with flaps
- 2 patch chest pockets with flaps
The flaps protect the pocket openings and hide the buttons. They are lined with unbleached cotton with the buttonhole.
The pocket corners are reinforced with bar tacks.
Interior pockets
There are 3, including a zipped one where you can safely store your keys, your cell phone or your wallet.
Real horn buttons
They are dark brown and matte. They are all different from each other, each has its own particular nuance.
Taped seams
For protection, the interior seams are taped. The entire back of the jacket is cleaner and neater.
Roll up your sleeves
So that you can easily roll up your sleeves if you feel like it, we have slightly lengthened the cuff slit. Very appreciable in summer.
